Dear NDA Families,
We are very happy to share some good news tonight: power has been restored at Notre Dame Academy, and our campus will reopen tomorrow, Friday, August 14!
After a challenging couple of days, we are especially excited to welcome our freshmen and new students to campus tomorrow morning for Orientation and FunFest! We are grateful to be able to move forward as planned and look forward to seeing our newest Pandas at NDA.
As a reminder, tonight’s Parent Welcome Back Night was canceled due to the power outage and will not be rescheduled. Instead, please continue to watch your email for a special video message from Principal Lisa Ruwe Timmerding with the important information families need as we prepare for the first day of school on Tuesday, August 18.
Freshman families should also continue to watch the Panda Press for information about the rescheduling of the Freshman Gift Gathering.
We also want to give a special shout-out and heartfelt thank you to our Facilities Team, Rick Coldiron and Ken Korfhagen, who has worked incredibly hard throughout the past few days to make sure our campus is ready to welcome students tomorrow morning. We are so grateful for everything they have done behind the scenes to get us back up and running!
