Life At NDA

Performance Arts

The fine arts have had a long history of excellence at NDA. Students have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of performing arts, including our renowned theatre and drama programs, a dance and pom team, choral club, and our select choral ensemble, concert and marching band. Notre Dame’s commitment to its fine arts program is exemplified through its new state-of-the-art performing arts center, which was completed in the fall of 2009.

Our performance arts teaching staff features dedicated individuals who bring a variety of professional experience to their classroom instruction.

Ms. Jackie Smith is our Theatre instructor and director. Ms. Jackie Smith is also an accomplished director well known throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

Mr. Greg Cerimele, Band Director, continues to offer his professional expertise, training and guidance to our students. The CCH/NDA Band offers opportunities in Jazz Band, Concert Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Pit Orchestra for Theatre, Jr. High Band, String Ensemble, and Liturgy Ensembles for Mass.

“If you are a student interested in a variety of performing opportunities, I can’t think of a better situation in Northern Kentucky than our NDA and CCH performing arts combination.”   -Mr. Greg Cerimele, Fine Arts Department Chair.
