MISSION STATEMENT OF NOTRE DAME ACADEMY:

Notre Dame Academy, a Catholic high school dedicated to Mary,

and committed to academic excellence, exists to educate

young women to make a difference in the world.

 

 

ACADEMICS & TECHNOLOGY

Domain Vision: NDA provides a transformative, innovative, and rigorous academic experience, founded in the Catholic faith, and supported by highly qualified faculty, that prepares students for a meaningful life rooted in a deep experience of God’s goodness and provident care.

Strategic Objectives:

  1. Develop a mission-based plan for faculty recruitment and retention.
  2. Develop a student-driven, evidence-based curriculum and innovative learning environment in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  3. Provide a data-driven, mission-based professional development plan incorporating pedagogy, content area, and spiritual formation, informed by the Catholic intellectual tradition.

ADVANCEMENT

Domain Vision: Our advancement efforts ensure sustainable financial stability through community-wide relationships that support and promote Notre Dame Academy’s Catholic mission.

Strategic Objectives:

  1. Create and maintain a comprehensive advancement plan that maximizes revenue.
  2. Enhance relationships and improve trust with existing donors while building relationships with future donors through transparent, consistent financial communication and recurring engagement opportunities with NDA.
  3. Develop and implement a robust prospect management plan that enriches and leverages data on current and future donors to open the aperture of our gifting pool.

CHARISM & CATHOLIC IDENTITY

Domain Vision: Rooted in the spirit and mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame and dedicated to Mary, Notre Dame Academy is a beacon of Catholic educational excellence, fostering faith formation, service, and leadership.

Strategic Objectives:

  1. Preserve and strengthen an understanding and adoption of the teachings of the Catholic Church and the spirit and mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame, ensuring that these values permeate all aspects of the school environment.
  2. Continually identify the current issues facing our students and equip them with the means to address those issues based upon a framework rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church and their personal relationship with God.
  3. Develop a comprehensive communication strategy to inform the Greater Cincinnati Community that Notre Dame Academy is a Catholic High School, dedicated to Mary and committed to academic excellence while educating young women to make a difference in the world.

ENROLLMENT

Domain Vision: NDA is dedicated to providing the premier Catholic education for young women in our region. By delivering a transformative educational experience, we ensure sustainable enrollment growth.

Strategic Objectives:

  1. Develop and implement a collaborative, comprehensive, data-driven recruitment plan that is informed by feeder school enrollment trends and incorporates industry best practices in enrollment management.
  2. Cultivate a stronger sense of belonging to NDA by nurturing transformative relationships for students and their families.
  3. Strengthen our Catholic brand and communicate the holistic educational excellence delivered at NDA.

FACILITIES & TECHNOLOGY

Domain Vision: NDA maintains a safe, beautiful, and future-ready campus reflecting our Catholic mission and educational excellence.

Strategic Objectives:

  1. Update and expand the current Master Facilities Plan to ensure it is comprehensive to include the entire campus.
  2. Audit and assess current campus safety and cybersecurity protocols to develop and implement a plan to include scheduled reviews, updates and maintenance to ensure adaptability to future challenges.
  3. Assess the current use of the property and space to identify how it can be optimized. Collaborate with all departments to understand and support the plan to fit the needs of a modern learning environment.

FINANCE

Domain Vision: Notre Dame Academy upholds its financial health to ensure long term sustainability allowing the school to provide a high-quality Catholic education for future generations.

Objectives

Strategic Objectives:

  1. Ensure the Finance Department has the resources, leadership and staffing necessary to expertly oversee all aspects of the school’s finances.
  2. Research and identify diverse revenue streams while optimizing cost efficiencies.
  3. Develop and implement a collaborative and comprehensive five-year financial plan that is inclusive of all departments, transparent, and data informed.

GOVERNANCE

Domain Vision: Effective Governance through collaborative leadership, fiduciary best practices, and Catholic mission-driven decisions advance our mission through a commitment to a transformational Catholic education rooted in faith formation, academic excellence, and the holistic development of our students.

Strategic Objectives:

  1. Develop, implement, and communicate board policies, protocols, and procedures and provide a mechanism for their periodic review. 
  2. Create a plan that effectively communicates, on an on-going basis, the President/Principal model of the school and the role of the governing board.
  3. Research and implement best practices for board recruitment and formation.

STUDENT LIFE

Domain Vision: Student Life cultivates a welcoming, Catholic experience, rooted in the virtues of Mary, to empower every student to thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.

Strategic Objectives:

  1. Engage students in opportunities and programs to create and nurture relationships with one another and the greater community that uphold the dignity of each person.
  2. Prioritize Catholic values and emphasize the virtues of Mary across the Notre Dame Academy experience and community to foster moral responsibility and personal growth.
  3. Assess current and future needs of students to implement ongoing opportunities to integrate experiential learning into the academic and co-curricular experience.
