In her sophomore year at Notre Dame Academy, Julia Folzenlogen has been named October’s Student of the Month. Julia is a great combination of hard-working and fun! She is involved in many ways at NDA but she is most credited with helping to create a very positive atmosphere in the classroom.
“Julia’s personality is contagious, putting a smile on everyone’s face,” says Julia’s Geometry teacher Ms. Schellhaas. “She challenges her classmates to think beyond the physicality of the subject matter, establishing a strong learning environment.”
Julia shows to have a strong work ethic and study skills while also demonstrating higher level thinking in the classroom. She works well with others, offering help when needed, and approaches challenges with a positive attitude.
Julia’s classmates credit her with being a great friend and claim that it’s impossible to be around her without a smile on your face. Way to go Julia!
