NDA senior Kathryn Maurer was selected to receive the Joseph Adams Senior Scholarship through the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (the equivalent of the NHS for Spanish) and the AATSP (the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese). She was selected due to her outstanding grades in Spanish for the past four years, her commitment to volunteering, and her passion for language learning. It is a prestigious award only given to 48 seniors in the United States.
