Sister Mary Lynette Shelton, SND Statement

In 2011, I was asked to make a three-year commitment to serve as President of Notre Dame Academy. The privilege to serve the community of Notre Dame Academy has been both a joy and a blessing however, I feel that it is time for me to move on.  After a great deal of prayer and reflection, I informed Notre Dame Academy’s Board of Directors in January that I would not be extending my ministry at NDA.  While I am not certain what lies ahead for me, I am confident that the future of Notre Dame Academy is secure. I truly believe that this is a good time for change of leadership at the school. I will continue to focus on my obligations as President of Notre Dame Academy through the end of this school year.  Beyond that I will put my life in God’s hands confident that He will lead me to the place I am most needed.
