Today is the first day of Hope Week. This week Hope Squad works to break down the stigma surrounding suicide and promote positive mental health. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for youth and young adults in Kentucky. At lunch this week, don’t forget to stop by and write down what ‘hugs your mind’ and add it to the poster in the Auditorium. Tomorrow before school, we’ll be passing out clothespins with positive messages to ‘clip for kindness’ and surprise someone with a kind message without them noticing to find later. We also will be passing out resources to turn to if you or someone you know is in crisis.

Thank you to all who contributed to last week’s fundraiser for the Kenton County Animal Shelter. We collected 238 items and $2200. Way to go.
