Retired Healthcare Leader, Executive Coach, and Organizational Development Consultant
Christine Browning is a retired healthcare leader, executive coach, and organizational development consultant with more than 30 years of leadership experience serving nationally recognized healthcare systems, nonprofit organizations, and Catholic ministries. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to strengthening leaders, building healthy organizational cultures, and advancing mission-driven organizations.
During her career, Christine served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President for several leading healthcare organizations, including Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Mount Carmel Health System, Hill-Rom Holdings, and Mercy Health Partners. She led transformational initiatives in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, talent
strategy, succession planning, and culture, earning a reputation as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and governing boards. She has long been guided by the belief that strong leadership is ultimately an act of stewardship by developing people, strengthening organizations, and advancing missions that serve the common good. Today, she continues to advise select organizations and leaders through her consulting practice.
Christine holds a Master of Education in Human Resource Development from Xavier University, completed leadership programs through the University of Michigan and the Human Capital Institute, and earned certification as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. She was recognized as HR Executive of the Year by Columbus CEO magazine.
Having spent much of her career serving Catholic healthcare organizations and ministries, Christine has developed a deep appreciation for mission-centered leadership and the transformative role of Catholic education in preparing future generations to lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose. She currently serves on the Finance Committee at St. Joseph Parish in Crescent Springs, Kentucky, and on the Notre Dame Academy Finance Committee. As the proud mother of two Notre Dame Academy graduates, she has experienced firsthand the lasting impact of an NDA education. Christine brings extensive experience in governance, strategy, organizational leadership, and talent development to the Notre Dame Academy Board of Directors in support of the Academy’s mission of educating young women to lead with faith, compassion, and excellence.
