The annual Smiles and Miles Race honoring Maria Schaffstein and the Katie Stewart Memorial Frog Hop was a tremendous success once again. Organizers of the event sent special thanks to our Pandas who were kind enough to lend a hand saying, “The friendly, generous spirit of Notre Dame Academy was everywhere yesterday.”
Freshman Sydney Allen, worked undercover as our frog mascot, while her NDA friend, Jaden Wagner, kept her well-hydrated! Notre Dame Academy students also volunteered at the finish line, served food, painted children’s faces and even tackled the race course!
