NDA Names 2017 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Notre Dame Academy is proud to announce the Class of 2017 valedictorian, Paige Montfort, and salutatorian, Jacqueline Noll. In making the announcement, NDA Principal Jack VonHandorf commented, “These young women have excelled in their high school careers and this recognition is a sign of their ongoing commitment to academic excellence.”

Paige Montfort is the valedictorian for the Class of 2017. In addition to her academic success at NDA, Paige has been very active in many clubs and organizations. She is a 2016 Kentucky Governor’s Scholar, a member of NDA’s Science Research Program, President of the National Honor Society (NHS), Captain of the Varsity Lacrosse Team, Captain of the Academic Team and President of the National English Honor Society (NEHS). Paige is also a member of Drug Free Club, Rho Kappa, the National Spanish Honor Society, the Junior Engineering and Technological Society (JETS) and Interact Club. In addition to her many co-curricular activities at NDA, Paige serves as a volunteer at the Notre Dame Urban Education Center and as a science fair judge for local grade schools. Paige is the daughter of Denise Montfort of Park Hills and Guy Montfort of Villa Hills. She will be attending Tulane University in New Orleans this coming fall and intends to major in Public Health and Political Science with minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies.

Jacqueline Noll is this year’s salutatorian. Jacqueline is Co-President of NDA’s Interalliance and French Clubs, the historian for National Honor Society (NHS) and founder of NDA’s Glee Club. She is also a member of Students Working to Advance Technology (SWAT), Student Council, Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS), National English Honor Society (NEHS), French National Honor Society and Rho Kappa. In addition to her many co-curricular activities at NDA, Jacqueline serves as a volunteer at Redwood Rehabilitation Center and she is a team leader for Blessed Sacrament’s “Challenge” Youth Group. Jacqueline played varsity volleyball and bass fishing at the varsity level for three years at NDA. Jacqueline is the daughter of Christy and Dave Noll of Fort Mitchell. She will be attending the University of Tennessee to study Mechanical Engineering.
