NDA’s Rachel Birrer to Host Solo Show at the Carnegie

Senior AP Art Student Rachel Birrer earned the opportunity to attend Governor’s School for the Arts this past summer, an experience that Rachel has described as ‘amazing’. She spent 3 weeks at GSA, learning from incredible instructors, working on her art, and being surrounded by high school students that were doing the same. While at GSA, a member of the Carnegie Arts Center in Covington, Kentucky, saw Rachel’s work and was so impressed that he invited her to show at the Carnegie. As a result, Rachel’s work will be on display at the Carnegie Arts Center from December 13, 2013 – February 13, 2014. Congratulations Rachel, and thank you for representing Notre Dame Academy and the Art program. Further information for Rachel’s show can be found at: http://www.thecarnegie.com/season.php.
