Mrs. Mullee Nominated for Bammy Award

NDA’s Director of Instructional Technology Molly Mullee has been nominated as Innovator of the Year at the 2013 Annual Bammy Awards. Presented by the Academy of Education Arts and Sciences International, the Bammy award is a cross-discipline award recognizing the contributions of  educators from across the education field.

Mrs. Mullee was nominated by one of her students, Cassidy Ryan. In her nomination, Cassidy  wrote, “I have not always been technologically savvy, but now that I have joined the SWAT (Students Working to Advance Technology) team that Mrs. Mullee heads, I have truly been inspired to problem solve, find solutions, try new apps, and I constantly share what I learn with the students around me. Not only has she totally enhanced my learning, but she is constantly inspiring me not to give up and look at problems that arise as an opportunity to find new solutions. She has genuinely inspired me to pursue a career in technology, and I know that I will now be ale to do so because of the iPad initiative and useful skills that I now have mastered.”

Congratulations to Mrs. Mullee on being recognized for making a difference in education!
