The next Spanish club meeting will be today, right after school until around 4:00 PM! We will be making Christmas cards for the children who will receive gifts at Fiesta NKY! We’re also having a late Thanksgiving potluck, so everyone is encouraged to bring a snack, drink, or dessert to share while we work on the cards. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE SPANISH OR SPEAK SPANISH TO COME!! We can’t wait to see everyone there!

And here are some announcements from Mrs. Timmerding:

1.For our Advent mass tomorrow, we will need to be in FULL uniform.  As a trade off, we will have two special days next week.

Monday, wear Pink Shirts with your uniform to celebrate the “Joyful” 3rd week of Advent.

Tuesday, wear Christmas shirts or regular spirit wear with Christmas accessories.

  1. We are having issues with too many students not following the procedures at dismissal time.  Leaving first is a privilege for seniors and all others are expected to wait until their dismissal time.  Should students leave when they are not permitted, violations will be issued and recurring issues will be addressed individually.  We can make a special dismissal time after everyone else leaves for those who cannot follow this procedure.

Teachers, please be sure to require your classes to abide by this procedure as well.

  1. Thank you for being mindful of wearing your lanyards today.  The lunch line went much faster today than it did yesterday and it was because of your cooperation.  The lanyards are a required part of the uniform and must be worn at all times.  Thank you so much for working hard to be sure they are worn everyday.
