Life Club would like to thank everyone who donated blood at yesterday’s blood drive to make it a success.  Twenty four whole blood products were collected and our drive helped 72 patients in our community, truly saving lives!

Back in the Fall we held a Book Drive in conjunction with our Common Reader Day.  Since we shifted to virtual Learning shortly after the drive was held – the books were not distributed to the local schools right away.  A couple of weeks ago we were able to distribute the majority of the books to the students at Beechgrove Elementary, James E Biggs Preschool, Notre Dame Urban Education Center, and Prince of Peace Montessori.  We have received several thank you cards from some of these students and they are on Display just inside the CLC.   I want to highlight the note from the principal at James E Biggs who writes: ” Thank you for the donations of books to James E Biggs preschool.  Many of our students do not have books in their homes so it means so much to them to take a book home to their families.  Your kindness has put smiles on our preschoolers faces! Thank you again for your kindness!”.  Stop by and see the other thank you notes from the preschoolers.

As some of you are likely aware, Sr. Paul Ann was taken to the hospital yesterday because she was not feeling well. She has to remain in the hospital for a couple more days to get better. In the meantime, please keep her in your prayers and create a card/note of encouragement for her. Let’s show Sr. Paul Ann the same kindness she shows us each and every day.

Current Juniors:  A reminder to those of you who are interested in running for School Office next year: Applications for School Co-President, Secretary, Treasurer and PR Coordinator are due next Friday, March 19.
