A BIG Congratulations goes out to Band Members Sabrina Lemma and Audrey Rose who both represented NDA at the NKU Honor Band Symposium this past weekend. The NKU Honor Band Symposium includes only the best HS Musicians in the Tri-State are. These students are recommended by their band directors. After rehearsing at NKU for two full days an awesome concert is performed at Greaves hall at NKU, conducted by a prominent collegiate conductor. During the audition process, Audrey obtained 3rd chair out of 8 honor trombonists who auditioned and Sabrina landed 2nd chair out of 7 honor Alto Saxophonists. Thanks panda band members for representing the NDA performing arts program so well !!

Pandaversity will be meeting on Thursday after school in Rm 112. We will be discussing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s actions and accomplishments, and discussing our answers to questions like, “What did Martin Luther King Jr. do to help the civil rights movement? If MLK were alive today, what do you think he would be most proud of? What are some ways that you can honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy in your own life?” We’d love it if you could join us!
