Sisters of Notre Dame Hiring

The Sisters of Notre Dame are currently looking for dedicated and reliable students to work at the St. Joseph Heights. This position is part of our Work Study Program where all money earned is applied directly to tuition at Notre Dame Academy.

We’re hiring for:
Work Study Dishwasher (Student Opening) – This position is responsible for washing dishes after meals for our beloved Sisters. The hours are after school from 4-7 p.m. and every other weekend working either our morning (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.) or evening (4-7 p.m.).

Ruta Sepetys to Speak at Erlanger Library

The Erlanger Branch library is hosting author Ruta Sepetys on Thursday, September 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. She will be speaking about her new book “I Must Betray You.” Ruta Sepetys is a number 1 New York Times bestselling author of historical fiction. She has won the Carnegie Medal and many other book prizes with her work, which tells the stories of those marginalized in history. Her talk will be followed by a book sale and signing.

Seeking student volunteers: Opportunity Day for Differently-Abled Persons

Students, you are  invited to participate in the 40th Knights of Columbus Opportunity Day, Sunday, September 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Volunteer check-in starts at noon.)

In the early 1980’s, members of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Dejaco Council in Alexandria, KY, recognized the challenges families and caregivers of differently-abled persons faced both in providing enjoyable outings for their charges, or in finding time for their own self-care. The Knights established Opportunity Day to fulfill this need, at least for a day. Since then, hundreds of exceptional children and adults have participated in the event, which includes food and refreshments, games and activities, music, and meeting new people.

We are recruiting volunteers, ages 14-18 or adults, to assist with the afternoon, as companions or in helping with the various activities.

School Cafeteria Managers

The Diocesan School Lunch Office has two full-time (six hours/day) and two part-time (four hours/day) Cafeteria Manager positions to fill at four of our elementary schools. There are full-time Manager positions open at St. Augustine School in Covington, and St. Timothy School in Union. The part-time Manager positions are open at Prince of Peace School in Covington and Sts. Peter and Paul School in California. Primary responsibilities involve overall supervision of each school’s meals program, especially preparing and serving meals to the students. Molly Mayer’s Studio of Dance Registration

Molly Mayer’s Studio of Dance offers classes for students from ages 3-18 in dance styles that include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, tumbling, and lyrical/contemporary. The majority of high school dancers at MM’s studio are from Notre Dame Academy, and it is a great place to get involved in the community, make new friends, and learn new dance skills while having fun and staying active! Seeking Lower Tuition Payments?

Parishioners of St. Thomas (POST) is a non-profit group based in St. Thomas Parish, Fort Thomas, that provides opportunities to school families to reduce tuition costs or for parish members to meet personal tithing goals by working Reds and Bengals games.
