Work Study Positions Available

The Sisters of Notre Dame are currently looking for three dedicated, reliable and caring students to work at the St. Joseph Heights beginning in May.  These positions are part of our Work Study Program where all money earned is applied directly to tuition at Notre Dame Academy.  Qualified applicants must be Notre Dame Academy students or attending NDA in the fall.  We’re hiring for:

• Work Study Receptionist - This position is responsible for taking incoming calls, messages, directing calls, receiving visitors and other tasks as needed.  The hours are immediately after school (approximately 3:15pm) until 5:30pm, 3 days one week and 2 days the following week.  The start date for this opening is early to mid-May and the position is year round.  An example of the work schedule would be:  Week A- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Week B – Thursday and Friday, Week A, Week B, etc.) **Schedule is subject to change based on our Work Study student schedules.

• Work Study Dishwashers – These positions would be washing dishes after meals for our beloved Sisters.  These openings are every other weekend from either 9am-2pm or 4-7pm.

Upcoming Blood Drive

One of our feeder parishes, St. Pius X, and the City of Edgewood - Fire/EMS are sponsoring a Blood Drive on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the St. Pius X Parish Activity Center.

Part-time Help Needed
Three cafeterias in our Diocesan elementary schools are in immediate need of paid part-time help. Holy Cross Elementary in Latonia has an opening for a food preparation and serving line worker Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Holy Trinity Elementary in Bellevue has an opening for a food preparation and serving line worker  Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and St. Augustine Elementary in Covington has an opening for a cashier, food preparation, and serving line worker Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you might be interested in one, two, or all three openings, or to indicate your interest in working in any of our cafeterias, contact Jacking Kaiser by email at jkaiser@covdio.org, or call her at 859/392-1536.


Catholic Conference of Kentucky - Take Action on Educational Choice!

Kentucky House Bill 205 would create a Scholarship Tax Credit program that would make K-12 tuition at a non-public school more affordable for thousands of Kentucky families.
