Notre Dame Academy Accounting II students recently visited St. Elizabeth Medical Center’s Data Center to learn how accounting relates to the medical industry. St. Elizabeth employees talked to the students about how accounting concepts including budgeting, inventory, and costs, integrate with the many different departments at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
The field trip was organized by St. Elizabeth employee and NDA parent Joe Elfers and NDA business teacher, Kelly Gronotte. “The students prepared for their visit to St. Elizabeth’s by researching the medical industry and recognizing its relationship to accounting.
