Charitable support to Notre Dame Academy enhances the many academic programs, while at the same time, offers tuition assistance to those who might not otherwise be able to benefit from a Notre Dame education. Through the generosity of alumnae, parents, and friends, Notre Dame is able to provide a quality Catholic education to numerous young women each year. Notre Dame Academy, in the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame, continues to deliver a well-rounded program for its diverse student population.
Your gift to Notre Dame Academy ensures the continued commitment to educational excellence and spiritual development of our future women leaders. Notre Dame provides a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum for young women with some pretty impressive dreams. Our students are working hard to become physicians, corporate executives, forensic scientists, missionaries, journalists, biochemical engineers, fashion designers, elementary education teachers, architects, and a host of other interesting, challenging careers that will certainly impact the world around them.
Your generous financial support helps turn dreams into reality. Charitable giving by Notre Dame Academy alumnae, current parents and grandparents, friends, and others helps to bridge the gap between tuition costs and actual educational costs. Your gift today continues the rich Notre Dame legacy and heritage and demonstrates your continued faith in the value of a strong Catholic education.

Memorial and Honorary GiftsA memorial gift to Notre Dame Academy can help to perpetuate values that guided a loved one's life. Gifts may honor a person during his or her lifetime or commemorate a significant event. Memorial and Honorariums are designated to the Sister Mary Agnetis Scholarship Fund.
Planned GiftsThere are many ways to make a gift to Notre Dame Academy. Annuities, life insurance, charitable remainder trusts, lead trust and bequests are examples of planned giving. By making such a gift to Notre Dame Academy, you not only contribute to the Academy's future, but you may enjoy a tax deduction or a reduction in capital gains or estate taxes.
BequestsA Bequest is a gift made by a provision in one's will naming Notre Dame Academy as beneficiary. It can reduce estate taxes. All Bequests will be designated to an Endowment Fund.
Charitable Gift Annuity This gift allows the donor to receive benefits for his/her lifetime and to qualify for a charitable tax deduction. This form of support is attractive when one has highly appreciated assets.
Charitable Remainder Trust This form of support transfers assets to a trustee, who in turn manages the trust and pays an income back to the donor for life or for a specific time. When the trust terminates, the remainder passes to Notre Dame Academy.
Annuity Trust An Annuity Trust pays a fixed percentage on the initial principle value. Benefits include an income tax deduction, the avoidance of capital gains tax (when appreciated securities are used), as well as an estate tax reduction.
Life InsuranceIf Notre Dame Academy is named as the owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy, the policy premiums become eligible as a tax-deductible gift.
Gift Restrictions Although many donors choose to allow the school to use their gifts where they are most needed, several special programs and projects are funded through restricted gifts each year. These include gifts to endowment programs and for enhanced equipment and facilities.
AcceptanceOn occasion, Notre Dame Academy is presented with a unique gift opportunity that requires the institution to formally accept a gift before it is actually made to the school. For that reason, Notre Dame reserves the right to formally review any gift, regardless of its asset form, before it is receipted.
