Endowment
The Notre Dame Academy Endowment Fund has seen significant growth since its beginning in the early 1990's. The most significant benefit to Notre Dame is the fulfillment of a long-term objective to endow tuition grants and assistance for those students who might not otherwise be able to afford a Notre Dame education.
Benefactors who contribute a cumulative amount of $10,000 or more will establish a "Named" Scholarship Fund. The fund can be restricted for a specific purpose or can be designated for use where there is the greatest need. The fund will be named as directed by the donor and can be in honor or in memory of a family member, etc. The endowment donor will receive yearly fund status reports. Recognition includes an acknowledgement in the Notre Dame Annual Report.
For information on establishing a Scholarship Fund at Notre Dame Academy, please feel free to contact Notre Dame’s Development Office at 859.292.7729 or e-mail

It recognizes students who demonstrate a passion for life and environmental issues and a positive attitude toward learning. The students must also have a clear need for financial assistance.
Sister Mary Agnetis School Scholarships
Student recipients of these scholarships are those who rank first and second in their class, and two others are voted upon by the faculty. These students are chosen because of their overall attitude toward learning and their academic achievement.
The Gospel of Life Scholarship
The Gospel of Life Foundation was established by Drs. Mick and Nancy Shaughnessy to encourage students to work on behalf of the dignity of human life. This endowment will not only fund scholarships for students who have proven their commitment to life, but will also fund all-school projects that encourage respect for life.
The Guy Hollenkamp Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is reserved for NDA or CCH students who are attending either of these schools when a parent dies. The family may apply for this scholarship if tuition and other educational expenses would make continued attendance a financial hardship for the family.
Annette T. Lucas Scholarship
This scholarship is reserved for students who live in the urban area and who demonstrate a clear need for financial tuition assistance. Private School Aid System (PSAS) form is required on file in the school office before student is considered for eligibility.
Gamel Otto Scholarship
The Gamel Otto Scholarship is awarded annually to incoming freshmen and is based on their performance on the standardized Diocesan entrance test. This scholarship is given to the student(s) who qualify immediately following the recipients of the Sister Mary Agnetis Scholarships.
PTO Scholarships
The PTO scholarship recognizes students who make a difference in their world, tackle their schoolwork diligently, and who demonstrate leadership in their school and community. Two freshmen, two sophomores, and two juniors will receive the scholarships.
