Establishing a named scholarship
is an excellent way to honor an individual or group, while at the same time
providing essential student tuition assistance through academic and need-based
scholarships. Our scholarships continue in perpetuity so that every year, a deserving student will benefit from your generosity and commitment to 'educating women to make a difference'.
The amount needed to create a named scholarship is
$10,000. The NDA Endowment Fund is invested in a variety of areas, including stocks and bonds to generate income. Each year, five per cent of the
money invested is awarded as NDA scholarships and grants, or is applied to
programming needs as determined by the establishing party of each scholarship.
A strong and healthy Endowment allows Notre Dame Academy the
freedom to provide more need-based tuition assistance and additional revenue. One of our constant focuses is maintaining the cost of tuition so that all young women who wish to attend NDA can do so. We also work to continue our investment in a highly trained and
skilled faculty, which is the backbone of the quality education we provide.
