Dear Friends of Notre Dame,

Happy New Year! I pray that your New Year will be blessed and filled with God’s love and peace. The past year has been an exciting time for Notre Dame Academy. We are continuing to move forward with our dreams for the future. This initiative, called Making A Difference-Embracing Our Future Campaign, will invest significant monies in several crucial areas. It will also increase by $2 million our endowment that provides crucial funding for our tuition assistance programs. The investment will come from charitable gifts and pledges with payment terms up to five years.

We began the public phase of the Campaign in October 2007. Over 10,000 appeal letters were sent inviting friends of Notre Dame to stretch in their giving this year while supporting the annual fund and campaign. I am happy to report that at the present time we have a total of $8,600,000 in pledge commitments. We are over half way to reaching our campaign goal of $12 million! We know, however, that finding the last $4 million will be our most challenging task.

During this special campaign year, I hope that you will be inspired to participate and consider a generous gift to NDA. Please reflect for a moment on the importance of strengthening the faith-based educational opportunities in Northern Kentucky for young women. Your gift to Notre Dame Academy is an investment in the education of the future leaders of our community. The young women and families of Notre Dame Academy are counting on your generous support.
