Prayer: The good God is our strength. We ask you, God, for vision
and courage, patience and persistence, enthusiasm and compassion.
Give us the heart and mind of Christ, that we may understand
and care for those we will teach this year. Deepen our knowledge,
be with us in times of difficulty, and give us a sense of joy
in our calling. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
