Washington DC Trip

Thank you to everyone who attended the informational meeting about the educational trip to Washington, D.C. for the 11th and 12th grade students at Notre Dame Academy (March 16-19, 2012).

For those of you who were unable to join us at the meeting, I encourage you to watch WorldStrides’ online parent presentation and video about the trip. The presentation covers similar information to what we discussed at the meeting, and hopefully it will answer most of your questions. To supplement the presentation, a sample itinerary and pricing information can be found in the Invitation Packet your student should have brought home from school (please let me know if you did not receive one).

There are three ways to sign your child up for the trip:  
1. Online – go to www.worldstrides.org/register. Use Trip ID#71824. 
2. By phone – contact WorldStrides’ Customer Service team at 1-800-468-5899.  
3. By mail – send in the blue Registration Form using the envelope in your student’s Invitation Packet.

If you have financial concerns, WorldStrides has information on a number of need- and merit-based scholarships on their website. Please see www.worldstrides.org/scholarships for more information.

I strongly encourage you to register your child for this amazing educational experience as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
