Congratulations to soccer coach Sara McSorley for being selected National Soccer Coaches Association of America  Region Coach of the Year. The NSCAA is honoring this achievement with a special award at the NSCAA Convention in Kansas City.
The Region Winners will be recognized at the High School breakfast on Friday morning
January 13, 2012. In addition, all Region winners are all in the running for the National
Coach of the Year. This is a prestigious award that will be presented at the Honors
Banquet Friday evening January 13, 2012.   Congratulations Sara!

Congratulations to .....


Ali Cheesman,
a senior golfer for the Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Bellarmine University.  Ali was named to the 2009, 2010 & 2011 All-Conference and All-Region Teams.  In 2011, she finished as the individual Runner-up Medalist in the Regional Tournament.  Ali is a four-year varsity player who helped captain her teams to four Conference and Regional Championships and four top ten State Tournament appearances


Chandler Clark,
a senior soccer player for the Notre Dame Academy Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Western Kentucky University on a soccer scholarship.  Chandler, a three year member of the varsity squad, was voted 2009 Most Valuable Player of the District Soccer Tournament and helped lead the Pandas to the 2009 State Tournament Runner-up Title and the 2011 State Championship!  A senior captain of the team, Chandler will join her former 2010 teammate Torie Lange.


Madie Cook,
a senior tennis player for the Pandas, has verbally committed to attend St. Louis University on a tennis scholarship.  Madie, a two-time Regional Singles Champion, and 2010 State Quarter-finalist and 2011 State Semi-finalist is looking to finish her high school career for the Pandas on a winning note.


Caitlyn Forman,
a senior swimmer for the Notre Dame Academy Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Auburn University on a swimming scholarship.  Caitlyn, a three year varsity letter-winner, was voted to the All- Region Teams in 2010 & 2011
while also receiving 1st Team All-State honors all three years!  Entering her final season for the Pandas, Caitlyn has three state championship victories to date; 2010 Medley Relay, 2011 Free Relay and 100 Backstroke.

Ellie Eckerle, a junior soccer player for the Notre Dame Academy Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Xavier University on a soccer scholarship.  Eckerle, a mid-fielder for the 2011 State Championship Team, was named in 2010 to the NKGHSCS Coaches Association 2nd team All-Northern Kentucky team.  Ellie has also been an Honorable Mention Academic All-State recipient in 2009 and 2010.


Lindsay Hartmann,
a senior volleyball player for the Pandas, has verbally committed to attend University of North Carolina Wilmington on a volleyball scholarship.  Lindsay, a two-year member of the varsity squad, was voted the Most Valuable Player of 2011 Regional All-Tournament Team and helped captained the Pandas to a State Semi-finalist season.


Megan Miller
, a senior soccer player for the Notre Dame Academy Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Lipscomb University on a soccer scholarship.  Megan, a strong defender for the 2011 State Championship Team, was named to the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference All-Star Team.


Shelby Reid,
a senior volleyball player for the Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Georgetown University on a volleyball scholarship.  Shelby, an outside hitter and two-year member of the varsity squad, is a key leader of the 2011 Regional Championship and State Semi-finalist Team.


Sydney Scheben,
a senior soccer player for the Notre Dame Academy Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Belmont University on a soccer scholarship.  Scheben, a two year member of the varsity squad, was voted in 2010 to the Lexington Catholic and Region All-Tournament Team.  A strong forward, Sydney was named to the 2011 District All Tournament Team as well as earning the All State Most Valuable Player award en-route to the Pandas 2011 State Championship.

Kristen Schellhaas,
a senior volleyball player for the Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Georgetown University on a volleyball scholarship.  Kristen, a two-year member of the varsity squad, was voted to the 2011 Regional All-Tournament Team and helped lead her team
2011 Regional Championship and State Semi-finalist Team.  Kristen also established a new School Record in Single Season Aces.

Carly Scheper,
a senior diver player for the Notre Dame Academy Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Auburn University on a diving scholarship. 
In her three winter seasons, Carly has finished in the top 5 at the State Meet while earning three consecutive years of Second Team All-State Honors and All American Consideration honors.  A two-sport athlete all four years, Carly was named to the All-Region Team in Cross Country for her 2011 third place finish while en-route to a fantastic 27th place showing at the State Meet.

Emily Schmahl,
a senior volleyball player for the Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Murray State University on a volleyball scholarship.  Emily, a three-year member of the varsity squad, was voted 2010 & 2011 Northern Kentucky Coaches Association Division I Player of the Year honor, as well as, a member of the District and State All-Tournament Teams.  Voted LaRosa's Most Valuable Player of the Week, Emily also set a new School Record in Career Kills.


Sydney Schuler,
a junior volleyball and basketball player for the Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Morehead Sate University on a volleyball scholarship.  Sydney, is a prolific blocker and hitter for the 2011 Regional Championship
and State Semi-finalist season.

Brandi Schwartz
, a senior soccer player for the Notre Dame Academy Pandas, has verbally committed to attend Bellarmine University on a soccer scholarship.  Brandi, a strong defender for the 2011 State Championship Team, was also named to the All-State Tournament Team.
