Women Making a Difference Luncheon Inspires AttendeesNotre Dame Academy women continue to make a difference to their families, their communities, and the world in which they live. This fact was clearly brought to light once again as Lynn Dietz Schworer, Carol Steltenkamp, and Amy Quinn were honored at the tenth annual Women Making a Difference luncheon. Approximately four hundred twenty-five alumnae, community and business leaders, and friends gathered on February 25 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center to pay tribute to these Notre Dame Academy graduates for their significant contributions and achievements.
“Each year I come away from the luncheon with such a sense of pride in the women of Notre Dame,” declared Sister Mary Shauna Bankemper, President. “What strong and sprit-filled women! I believe that each of the women recognized represents the thousands of Notre Dame graduates making a difference in our world year by year, day by day, moment by moment. What a difference that makes!”
In addition to the three Women Making A Difference awards that were given, the Sister Mary Reina Arlinghaus Service Award was given to Robert Stevens for his long-standing service and dedication to Notre Dame Academy.
